Hi everyone, I hope you enjoyed your New Year's whether you went out or stayed home with friends and family (like me!). Lately I have been straying from dark winter colours so I decided I wanted to try China Glaze Sea Spray. Baby blue is by far my favourite colour for nail polishes, and this one takes the cake. It have the faintest amount of shimmer and a grey undertone, it somewhat reminds me of Chanel Riva. Also, Sea Spray applies like a dream; it is so rich & creamy and I only needed 2 coats. This never happens with baby blues !
This polish was released as part of the the Spring 2011 Anchor's Away collection but I am sure many online vendors still have it in stock.
I used Essie Protein Base Coat and Essie Good to Good Top Coat.
This polish is so lovely on you. And a refreshing change from all of the dark, sparkly and intense manis we are all wearing, right now.
ReplyDeleteI have this beauty on my untried shelf. Hopefully, I'll be getting to it, soon. :)
A baby blue that only need 2 coats? how cool it´s that? I love my Revlon´s Blue Lagoon whith that beautiful golden shimmer but it´s so sheer....

Sea spray really is a really gorgeous blue- I love its faded quality. Lately I feel like a light blue mani too (and that doesn't happen too often!)
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year to you & your family, Tasha! I look forward to more of your beautiful posts...and by the way, this is still one of my favourite China Glaze polishes...looks stunning on you!
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty polish, it reminds me of Essie's Borrowed and Blue, which is one of my all-time favourites! You have lovely nails by the way x
